I searched Google for a way to get a background check. "Glad I Know" came up. The site advertised that I could find anyone in the particular state where the person whom I needed a background check on lived. The site advertised a free report and a free 7 day trial. It asked that I enter my credit card information. I did so and I received an automated message that my account could not be created. When I tried to create the account again, the site gave an automated message which stated that my account had already been created. I attempted to access my free report and I was denied. I Googled the toll free number and each time, there was no dial tone, but I received an automatic disconnection to the call. This is a scam. Please beware. I had to call my bank and inform them that the scammers may try to fraudulently access payment on my credit card.
