I've been getting calls from this number leaving me messages with a claim number and a phone number to call back and if I don't contact them they will take action against me without my permission. When I called them back, they said I owed money due to a First Merit bank account sent to collections in 2011. While I did have a bank account with first merit, I never had any money owed to them. They claimed they sent me paperwork in December, but I never rec'd anything. In order to collect, they want my debit card information to , and gave me payment options. They've even started contacting my husband.

I called the ScamPulse.com and inquired, they gave me the number to the actual Gleason & Associates (in Maryland and an insurance agency, not debt collection) and that business has no record of the number calling me.
