Visited the websites looking for a Jack Russell Terrier and found two females that we liked on glenwoodjackrussellterriers.com out of Helena Montana. I was contacted by returned email inquiry using the puppy we liked named Booker. The puppy is ten weeks old and only one picture on the website. The information sent was happy the puppy is doing with its temporary owners and family being happy and playful. Medical examination and current vaccinations. It comes with a lifetime satisfaction guarantee, 3 Year health guarantee and Vet records. The price was $600.00, and $145.00 to fly it to Portland PDX. The Pet Express Delivery Service Agency was chosen by the seller to do the transporting. Payment was made by two different online systems but the delivery service required a mandatory insurance policy at a cost $ 931.00 of which only $31.00 would be used once the puppy was delivered. I questioned the insurance amount and asked to speak an agent but instead got a threatening email saying "IF YOUR PUPPY KEEPS DELAYING HERE WE WILL QUARANTINE THE PUPPY AND CHARGE YOU IN COURT FOR QUARANTINE &4500.00 ALONESIDE PET ABANDONMENT $3500.00. We stopped and found out (too late) it was a scam. Now I have received a text that he will take me to court.
