Initial means of contact Text message
I Told them I didn't know what it was. I was given the number mentioned above and told to text them to see if I qualify for the grant. Whoever it was got back to me immediately. and asked me for my name and address as well as my phone number , s.s.n. and a photo ID license. I contacted my relative to see if it was legitimate they replied that it was. It seemed to be legitimate to me so like a fool I sent the information requested. I then received a list of grant amounts to choose from ranging from $100,000 - 350,000 each had a different processing fee . I thought it was legitimate so I chose the $100,000 amount. They told me I was approved and would receive a check in 24 hours but I had to pay $500.00 for processing before Fed x could deliver it. I. informed the agent that I was unemployed and had no money ,Bank account or credit cards. The asked if I could borrow the money from anybody I replied that I could not. I again texted my relative to see if it was legitimate they replied that it was I told my relative of my financial situation but got no response. I let the agent know that I couldn't get the money for the fee. I told the agent I was going to have to pass on the grant. Then the agent texted me and told me my relative sent them $200.00 towards the$500.00 I tried to contact my relative to verify that but got no response I then realized I'd been scammed. I didn't send any money but they have my personal information. I stopped interacting with them even though they tried to contact me to convince me to borrow money from anybody. They tried this morning again I ignored it. Now I fear my identity will be used for fraud.

I accepted thinking it was real. Then I was told to text GACS at 712- 250- 5003 and say I wanted to apply fot assistance and that my friend told me to do so. The message said I would get money that I would not have to pay back. It seemed suspicious so I decided to look them up and scam came up immediately.
