Emailed as "Global Entry Assistance" sender and signed "Trusted Travelers Program support" signature. The message said I was pre-screened to enroll in the APEC Business Card for Global Entry. The email provided a link to a fake website which mimics an application.

Per an email from GlobalEntryASsistance, I was asked to renew my TTP and did not follow my own rules and go to the website to renew but used the email. I provided my TTP # and paid 249 $ via Credit card. I then felt uncomfortable and went to the web site and find that I am not due to renew and do not need the new application. I will be cancelling the credit card payment but I fear that they now have other information to use.

Trying to apply for Global Entry online and searched for “global entry” in my search bar. The site turned out to be a scam. It looked like the CBP site but once they got my credit card info there was a notice that this is a 3rd party site and not affiliated with the government. Now they have my personal information and a charge on my credit card. I will be disputing the charge and have a note on the charge as well.
