I received a text from what I thought was a friend telling me that she'd received $200,000 without any strings attached. I was simply to text a number, ask them if I was on their recipient list, and if it was still good.

They responded quickly, all in caps, and said, yes, that I was. After a few minutes I was told I was to receive $200,000. I couldn't tell anyone anything until I got the money. The only problem was that I had to send $1500.00 before I received the money due to expenses.

I checked with the friend, she didn't know anything about it.

I told them "No, thanks."

They responded, but I still said no. I'm afraid some as old as I may fall for it.
