This company approached me via email with a job offer of a "Global Procurement Manager." That is one of the positions I've recently applied for on several job posting websites ie: Indeed, LinkedIn, Lensa, and career builder. I only applied for procurement jobs on Indeed and Lensa. The salary is the 1st red light $4,300 every 2 weeks plus commission without ever having an interview or actual conversation with anybody, only emails. The duties are simply purchase items they request (most of which is electronics) from local vendors and ship the items to where is listed on the Purchase Order (PO). Initially it is explained that all purchases will be on a corporate credit card and will actually get a commission depending on the value of the purchase. Your start date will be the when you make your 1st purchase, but you have to wait 15 days after starting before you will get the corporate card. They claim that they will give you their corporate bank account information and you will withdrawal $10,000, $8,000 is for the 1st purchase, the remaining $2,000 is your initial salary that they promised to give you up front as a guarantee that this is a legit operation. You will also need to send them an image of your online banking screen which must contain the account holder's name and account number before they can transfer over the $10,000.

They have gone to great lengths and the forms they sent looked legitimate. Some of the red flags are they never ask for birthday or Social Security number, both of which you need to do a credit check and background check. They even say you will be paid by 1099 for the 1st 2 weeks then by W2 from then on, without you ever seeing any Federal claimant forms. Again, they plan on paying $111,800 a year with no SSN, birthdate, actual interview, and give me access to a corporate account without ever running a credit or criminal background check.
