As in the title, I got a "warning" from Paypal saying that they had evidence of an illegal transaction on my account. I called the info number, and they directed me to Globalquicksupport. When I typed this in my browser THIS scampulse site was the top Google result, so I told the lady on the phone, who then suggested I type in "Teamviewer" which McAfee reported as a screen share utility. I hung up and logged on to Paypal (about time, right?) to check my actual transaction history. The $600 charges were not there. However, I noted that somebody had tried to verify a bank account that wasn't my own and attach it to my account.

I got an email stating that my PayPal account was used to buy 600USD worth of gift cards. Well, I decided to call the number as recommended. It went directly to a call center, not in my country. Right away I was asked not to log into my actual Paypal as it was compromised, but instead, go to Global Quick Support, and download the installation onto my computer. All these were red flags but the email originally sent from the scammer was very real looking and even used the standard service email from PayPal. However, they didn't know my name or actual account number. Always ask questions if anything seems unusual and make sure to never give them any information online or on the phone. They are getting smarter and the fraud emails are looking more legit. Just be aware!

I received a phone call from Yanci Lopez (caller id) claiming to be from Amazon and that someone had placed an order for an iPhone costing $799.00 through Amazon. I received this call on my home landline, but you see my Amazon Acct uses my mobile number. I asked them questions such as my name and address and they had them correct. They backpedaled when I asked for my acct# or my ssn. They wanted me to go online to Global Quick Support, but I googled it instead and found it to be questionable. From the questions asked of me, I got the impression they wanted me to say the word "YES" which I didn't. They got pissed, claimed they were trying to help me and I was not being very appreciative and hung up.

I RECIEVED an Email from "Norton" or so I thought saying I owed $299+ for a service id did not sign up for. I Called the support number on the bottom of the email. A guy told me to go to Global QuickSupport Website to get my money back. He asked "what did I see?" .. I told him "It says its a scam do not go to this site!" He hung up soooo Fast. Do not get scammed they are getting better and better. Beware, Use common sense ,and question EVERYTHING!

Also received an email with bi-annual subscription that would be billed tomorrow for an amount of 880 USD
I called the number to cancel: weird guy on the line that could not give me info about my original subscription and started to get nervous with my questions.
He asked me to download a program on my computer which I didn’t.
I hung up the phone telling him it s a scam

I received an email that my annual Norton360 Protection had been renewed which I didn’t do for $852.07. Gave a number to call if I wanted a refund. I called the number and it was not affiliated with Norton but they sent me to the “Global Quick Support” website which looks legit and claims it’s a ScamPulse.com member. He was trying to walk me through cancellation and to get me to download something and it all sounded strange. Was also getting very angry that I asked a bunch of questions.
