Told person (gave Kevin as his name), that I do not remember such a service and to cancel, said. He told me that it could only be cancelled on-line, and an email would be forthcoming to facilitate the cancellation. Also said that e-mail offer would only last 5 minutes. Told individual that it takes me longer to sign-on, more than 5 minutes, as no access to high-speed internet and that I was nowhere near a computer. Also stated that he would call back in 1.5 hours. I did not fall for this pitch.
No e-mail received and no phone call as yet. Reported to local BBB.com via telephone.
The local office was most helpful in reporting this spam call. Thanks again for the tips!
