I paid for a puppy from an "individual" I sent her an american express gift card because paypal and cashapp would allow the payment. Once she said she dropped the puppy off at the airport I recieved a call that I needed to pay 1000 dollars to rent a crate for the puppy but wanted the payment through american express.

This service used the COVID 19 virus to try to scam me out of $1000 dollars payable in gift cards. They claimed nothing worked from COVID 19 and that the crate was not something they could ship us..... Apparently They work with breeders who want to distribute animals to others. I never received my pug. I am out $300 for the pug and they wanted me to pay another $1000 for vaccines and a crate. As far as I can tell they are not legal US citizens and all speak broken English - which should have been a sign. The pug dealer they were working with is named amerigo Jessy at 2054 Woodward Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15226

The number the transport called me from is 14433432238 from Maryland.
