Same as above.
They left a voicemail that there was suspicious activity connected with my SSN and that I wrote 2 bad checks from a bank account that has been closed for years because I no longer live there.
They also left threatening messages with me and my MIL(?) that I would soon be facing legal action and would be served papers soon, but if I called in the next two hours, they could put a stop action to the civil suit.
Ridiculous.

Received a few calls from this number saying they were Global Trust Communications and claiming I was going to be sued for 2 checks that did not pay back in September. I literally only ever write checks for rent and have bank statements to prove that I have no hot checks written on my account so I knew this was impossible and they supposedly had sent me things in the mail notifying me of this lawsuit which is also untrue because I never received anything. They had the last 4 digits of my social, last 4 digits of my account number and address. Also called my mother. They threatened to serve me papers for the lawsuit and they called me from an Unknown number 7 times this morning saying I needed to arrange when to sign for the papers or they would be given over to the sheriff in order to be given to me. Did not answer any of their calls because this is obviously a scare tactic and a scam so not sure if they were looking for more personal info or for money. Beware and don't fall for the threats!
