A guy by the name of Mark Cook stated that I wrote a bad check from Wells Fargo to a company I paid off 5 years ago. They knew all my personal information. When he told me the name of the company and the amount, I informed him that I had a receipt for that (thank God I keep them all for things like this), even provided confirmation number. He then proceeded to say that the receipt was fake and that a civil lawsuit has been filed against me and that I either pay now or in court. I was told they have been trying to get in contact with me and this was their last attempt. Mind you this is the first time I heard anything snice I paid the company they were talking about 5 years ago.

He gets upset and then start going off saying that I needed to pay now or pay $3000 when he takes me to court. While on the phone with them, I contacted BBB, provided the info Mark Cook gave me (asked about his business, phone numbers, etc.) and come to find out they are SCAMMING people. I just hate they have all my personal information which led me to lock all my credit reports.
