It started in 2022 identical to what the other complaint that brought me here - computer pop up where they say I need to pay since my computer is infected. After 6 months I told someone about it and realized it's a scam and I threw that computer away. Now, in Nov '24, they're calling to say I must renew or pay $2200 penalty. I no longer have the credit card they used so I know they can't charge me so I told them I know they're scamming me. They did try to have me share my address and email so they can have my name removed and account closed... dirt bags from another county it sounded.
