False claims of global entry renewal.

Email claiming it was time to renew Global Entry membership. Website appeared official. Initial "Prequalify" form captured membership number, gender, birthdate and place, employment status, current address & zip, email address. (The email renewal link did not contain my email used to send the message.) Fine print at bottom which I initially didn't see, said company 'not affiliated with the government". Second screen is payment processing which I did not do. - $249; debit card only.

Was attempting to apply for TSA-Global Entry program. By mistake, I completed the application on Global Entry Assistance website. They took my $149 credit card fee but did not submit my application. They replied to me that my application was denied due to "my reversing payment from my checking account for $100 background fee."

This company has my passport number, my drivers license number, my social security number, financial information, and my personal information including my address.
