I know the proliferation of scams for WFH jobs, but seeing that the website looked legit and it was a good offer, I decided to apply. The application consisted of my email, name, address, and a couple of questions about what e-commerce site I use most often and what bank/money service I use. This seemed sketchy so I did some research and found out a bunch of info about the domain that seemed weird. It was made 8 days before the email, there was Chinese writing on the site but the domain was registered to a white woman, with a New York address (that lead nowhere) with a phone number registered to a Mexican family in NM. I couldn't find anymore info so I put it away.

A few days later (today), I got another email from the same person "Andrea White," with a job offer and a contract:

Dear [my name],

After reviewing your candidacy, we are confident that you are the ideal candidate for Supply Chain Assistant position.

Before hiring you permanently, we are offering On-the-Job Online Training for one month. Upon successful completion of the training period, you are guaranteed an employment contract.

Your payroll for training is fixed.

You will receive $2,500.00 after one month, no matter what the results are.

Additionally, you'll get a bonus of $25.00 for each completed task.

You will find full information regarding the training period in this document

To accept this offer, choose the date when you are ready to start the training period.

Check the box "I accept this On-the-Job Training agreement" and click "Finish"

We look forward to working with you.

Clinking on the link took me to an online contract that was only assessable by my email and that detailed the duties of a supply chain assistant, namely that I would be "receiving orders and maintaining the accuracy of shipping supply." Again this seemed sketchy but I'm in need of work so I was tempted to sign. However, before accepting, I googled other job postings for a supply chain assistant and noticed that they used completely different wording. 80% sure that this offer was too good to be true, I did some reverse searching and found a website with the exact same layout and wording under a different company name:

https://innovative-solutions.ca/index.html

I am now 100% sure this is a job scam offer praying on the vulnerable population of unemployed/underemployed people. I have encountered many scam offers in my job search but this seems to be the most "official" looking one I have seen, and I'm sure people less inquisitive than me would/have fallen for it. Also I find it very concerning that the "company" didn't ask for money (as these scams often do) but instead detailed a job that involved "purchasing supply" and "receiving orders." It concerns me that they have my address (and possibly others) and want to ship "things." I don't know what can be done, but I hope that you can at least warn others about these fraudulent sites and offers
