Type of a scam Online Purchase
When making contact with the seller through the email address listed: Sales @Glocks.org I was immediately sent the following:
From 818-856-2828: "Hello, will you like to complete your Glock store order?" (This sent up the first red flag)
I sent an inquiry into an item number listed on the website. They replied that they DID still have the item in stock and asked the following...
GlockStore: "Do you have a Zelle account? Using Zelle is the quickest way to complete this transaction. But when doing so, list the purchase as "Friends and Family" as to not have the purchase flagged by Zelle or your bank"
I then received the following information...
"Use the following information in the Zelle purchase information..."
Seller email - [email protected]
Name on Zelle - Francis mbah
Memo - Order
Note: "Upload a screenshot of payment here once you are done, REMEMBER not to mention guns or anything related on Zelle so that the payment/your account should not be flagged"
At this standpoint, my Spidey-senses were tingling all over the place. When I went back to their website, I found that it has no address, city/state or phone number listed...just an email address. I called the phone number listed and never got anyone to answer.
Needless to say (thankfully), that's as far as I went and stopped right there to contact the ScamPulse.com to track a scam.
