FB had an ad for after Christmas deals on Bath and Body Works products. I thought it was legitimate since it was on FB and because the site looked real. On December 27, 2023 I purchased the items with a gift card given to me by my employer. I planned to use the candles I was ordering to give to co-wo workers. There was a screen that popped up thanking me for my order, but there was no confirmation email. I clicked on the tracking number, and it said the order had arrived from China to Texas, but it hasn't gotten delivered. I emailed [email protected] to complain, but the reply email had no content other than the original message I sent them. When I tried to "chat" with them, a screen popped up for a "tracking site" to track the package for a "refundable fee." I lost the $50 gift card my gracious employer gave me. :(
