This company or whatever it is, is running a scam through Telegram. There is an Australian Insurance company being used to scam people. I received a text message then a Mr. Anderson which is the most fake name I’ve ever heard asked me questions about my experience. I should have known something was wrong, this insurance company is based in Australia. Why would they want to hire from Brooklyn? My instinct told me something was wrong. I checked on line and found this website:

I just received also a phone message which says:

Hello i believe i am speaking to (my name)

I said: yes, it's me

and from here they started to send me the next information, at the end I said I was not interested. But I was surprised because they had my phone number and my name.

I was contacted by phone and email to set up an interview with HR for a remote data entry position and accounts payable department. I was hesitant due to the email but proceeded cautiously with the interview anyway. At the end of the lengthy hour long interview, I was informed I was "hired" and they informed me they would send me brand new Apple products and a check to purchase the software. The check gave the red flag for sure, saying I'd need to take out the $150 sign on bonus and use the rest to purchase the software I needed for the computer. I finished out the interview and quickly googled the scam and the exact same thing came up on google that happened to someone else. I haven't received anything in the mail yet.
