Part of the service was to review companies whom TalkU has a relationship. One company offered a “sample” of there product “Go Force”, a dietary supplement. I read through all of the information. The ad stated very clearly I would be charged a couple dollars for shipping. I just got sent a second shipment, at $89.95 which I didn’t order or agree to.
I checked for their website but it’s been suspended.
I called their 800-988-6370 and spoke with Malik (I spelled it back for his agreement). I said I didn’t order the product and want to return it. First he informed me I had an account. Then offered to close the account and accept a partial refund of 30% and keep the product. I again asked for an address to return the product to. He then said he’d give me 50% percent refund but I’d need to keep the product. I restated (politely), thanks but I was going to send the product back. He then said he would close the account, issue 100% refund and said there was no address to send the product back to.
I pushed back to overcome his objections, and he finally hung up.
THIS IS A SCAM! I’m going to also report this to the US Post Master, as using the US postal services as part of a fraud scheme resembles mail fraud to me!
