Hello, I do not know how to categorize this, the options to chose from do not match. I applied to a job add for an administrative position in indeed.ca under a company called Gold Consults who claimed to be opening up new offices in Calgary. I had a very brief telephone interview Monday, which I assumed was a preliminary interview. A couple of days ago, I received another email saying that I got the job, but it was the most unusual and strange letter. It had asked me for my full name, address and phone number, so that they could send me money too book hotels, laptops and software. When I asked for more information, they stopped answering. Furthermore I looked into their company, it's hard to find on a Google search, you can only find it when you search Gold Consults Wellington St Toronto. They don't even provide a postal code on their website and lastly, when you call the telephone number on their site no one answers and there is no legitimate voice mail. The scammer didn't get anything more than my resume because I caught on fast that something was weird. Please do check into it before it happens to someone else.
