This company calls, knowing you have a viable timeshare property, proposes to rent weeks for a NASCAR event taking place on a certain date. I was asked to activate 12 weeks available to me through Interval International, weeks called “getaway weeks”. I paid to them, $2388.00 to activate the weeks and I was to receive $1600 a week at a specified time after the race. I waited a couple of months and when I tried to call the salesperson on her phone, she didn’t answer. Many times and still no answer. I called the company numerous times and it merely asks to leave your name and number and someone will get back to you. Nothing. Definitely a scam. Stupid me. I even think the name of the seller was fake. It was Lewis I think. I have that name and number written down somewhere. Anything or information you can supply me would be appreciated.
