RV listed on Facebook marketplace. Gold Star contracted to handle sale and shipping for owner. Money wired to an "escrow "account until end of a 5 day period for us to inspect and accept/reject the RV. Communication ceased day before it was supposed to ship. Website was down for maintenance since.

Entered by ScamPulse.com Staff: Consumers were seeking to purchase a Truck (2016 Charcoal Gray Denali 2500 Duramax). on Facebook Marketplace. The consumer was offered 5 days test drive after submitting payment to "Escrow" for $18,500. After reaching out to the company a representative, Amy, emailed the consumer redirecting consumer to call Robert (602) -935-0029. Consumer states the business initially went by God Star Automotive and when contacting Robert it was Gold star Auto Logistics.

The consumer received paperwork for the vehicle but the paperwork received did not match the vehicle information/description of the vehicle they were seeking to purchase. Specifically, the VIN not match the description nor the year of the vehicle. The consumer suspected something concerning with the interaction therefore they did their own research and found the images of the truck matched other sites. Additionally, upon telling the representative Robert of his concerns the rep responded with "I don't care what you think". Upon their research, they discovered and confirmed that the company is an imposter of a company in Kansas.
