I was initially sent a text message that my resume was found on Indeed, and was rerouted to Google Hangouts to continue the conversation. When I asked the “hiring manager” to speak on the phone so that I would be more comfortable sharing my information, he called me and was very awkward on the phone and offered little information. When I said that it was understandable that I was skeptical and that I could not get through to anyone on the phone for their business, he said “thank you for your time! Goodbye!” and then blocked me on the messaging app.
