I believed I was purchasing a puppy from this company. After lengthy email conversation with a Jean Gomez there, I sent $850 for the dog to Jean Gomez. This morning I received tracking information from a Global Shipping Company https://globalshippingscompany.com/ . The dog was supposed to arrive this evening. Several hours later, I received an email from the shipping company asking for a deposit for a special warming crate to transport the dog in the cold temperatures. It seemed off to me, but Jean Gomez assured me it was normal so I sent them, via Zelle, the $1289 they required, which was supposed to be refunded to me in full upon receipt of the dog this evening. An hour or so later though, I received another email from the shipping company asking for another $1800 for pet insurance, at which point I realized that something was very amiss. Jean Gomez again assured me that this was normal, but I refused to pay it and asked for a refund. At this point, I am not receiving emails back from either the shipping company or the dog breeder, and we found a website which does list this as a fraudulent concern. I hope to help shut this down so no one else loses their money like I just did.
