They are scam. I received the same email. I received a check for $6,8 79.85. Which I started to question right away because I had no employee package showing that I even worked for them. The person I was working with was the name Tiffany O'Brien. I'm not sure what she is in affiliation with the company that I was hired for My check came from Schrader oil and tire which is out of Ohio and the check was mailed from Kansas. I've been in the real estate business long enough to ask a lot of questions. Which will probably come back to bite me in the butt someday but this group is definitely a scam group and please just watch your P's and Q's and protect yourself and do all the research. I will be reporting them to Federal trade commission and the attorney general. Stay safe my friends ask questions

I just went through the same issue please be careful out there. They told me the same thing they tell everyone above me with their stories and when I approached them that they are scammer the lady blocked me.

Scam. I got an email job offer and I just knew it was too good to be true. It's strange because there is a golden key construction website, FB, and IG. But when you call the number provided, a man with a heavy accent claiming to be a stripper picked up and asked if I wanted a good time.

This just happened to me. They sent this email. Of course I did my research to see where this company was located and to see if I could find a number. No results, but after searching scam results with their name I found this thread. Thanks let’s keep people aware.

I had the same experience yesterday and had doubts when there was no video call in a interview and only IM. Still went ahead as the offer was too good and the email id looked genuine compared to the company's website. After being appointed so easily had my doubts and went through the whole conversation and happened to notice only automated response was from the other end so googled more about the company and realized it was a scam! be aware people don't waste your time on scrap! Below is the letter that i received from these Jerks!

Dear Applicant,

Your resume stood out to us and you have been considered for the available positions; Data Entry Clerk and Administrative Clerk / Assistant at Golden Key Contractors. This position pays $30.75 per hour.

You'll have the chance to discuss the positions, responsibilities, benefits and learn more about our company with Mr Austin Deck, the company's senior hiring manager.

You are required to set up a Gmail account for the job briefing and interview session, then download gmail/google hangout to your PC or Phone. Please invite Mr Austin Deck using ([email protected]) and put a message through to him as this is the first step proceeding further.

I have the same experience; my interview was by IM, bizarre and they were very demanding, so we played the game. They ask for bank info and personal info, I evaded the question by requesting a contract. And stuff.

I received a random text message with my first and last name. They then proceeded to pursue me by saying they found my resume on Career Builder. the phone number I was texted from was 984-333-2165. Be cautious and do your homework. They get your attention with by offering a decent wage and list a job. It's very odd and they conduct chat 2 chat interview only.

Same fraud case and they sent me 3 fraudulent checks and I have the addresses from which they were sent from, would like to file with the FBI on this one.

It happened the same to me, I received an email that they found my resume and the instructions to get interview. Everything was thru hangouts, today they sent me a check of almos 6,000 to buy the materials to work from home. When I went to the bank they told me it was fraudulent. I would also like to file.
