We received a phone call to our local business number telling us that a member at the Lancaster Country Club recommended we be contacted for our Web Design Services. The man proceeded to attempt to sell us on ad space in a publication that he attempted to say goes out to all of the members of the Lancaster Country Club, Bent Creek Country Club and Conestoga Country Club. When asked for a sample of the publication, he sent us to the following website:https://www.golfclubpublishing.com/ which as marketers we could tell did not look like a legitimate business. When we said we would talk to a member of the country club to get ahold of a publication, he was quick to get off the phone. We also followed up with the Lancaster Country Club to let them know of this phone call and they told us they do not have any affiliation nor do they send out anything to their members other than materials they create themselves.
