My family and I were talking of buying puppies to replace a lab which we had lost due to old age. I found the above website and decided to buy three labs. I was sent videos of each dog. The price was $550 each but only paid $1550 for all three using Zelle. No credit cards were allowed. I had to screenshot that the payment was made to her bank. Samantha Graves is the name she used and required me to only use Zelle. Since my bank allows Zelle, my parents sent money to my bank and I paid for it. I had to screenshot that the payment was made to her bank. I was sent a form to sign transferring the puppies to me. After three attempts to email the form, which she said she did not receive, I took a picture and sent it to her by email. She then was explained that the puppies would be checked out and a notification would be sent to me from dhpcouriernanny.com with a tracking number and airlines. No mention of health insurance to be paid from her or on the website. I received an email with confirmation number and request that a $970.00 per puppy health insurance would be needed before the puppies could be shipped. All refundable at the time of pickup less $48.50 processing fee. I explained to Samantha I did not have that kind of money lying around. She said she would pay for one and I must come up with the rest because we did not want the puppies to lie in limbo somewhere. We paid $1940.00 in insurance for two puppies. Next day I receive an email from the courier that the puppies are in Missouri and they need another $2640.00 to finish because the correct paperwork was not with the puppies and they have been placed in quarantine. If we do not pay, then the puppies would be called abused and abandoned and we would be filed upon and prosecuted. After many text and emails to the owner the owner would not talk to us over the phone, was adamant that we were wasting time and these puppies were in trouble and we could not let them suffer any more than they had already. I refused to send anymore money and demanded receipts of her portion she claimed to pay, she sent me a hand written receipt picture from a generic receipt pad. When I told her that anyone would want more proof, and if she couldnt give me 5 minutes over the phone, then I would call a lawyer. While all of this is going on, I am also trying to contact the courier service that says the puppies are on hold until we pay for the remaining papers, which upon arrival is refundable. Once we started questioning why the puppies had left one airport and are in another without the papers, wondering if they were taken care of, when the abandonment order would be placed and asking for a supervisor, the gentleman hung up the phone, so we emailed them many times, and no response. The seller who is also talking to me over text messages and refuses to call us, is demanding we take care of the puppies we agreed to buy. Once i brought up lawyers again, and tried emailing, texting and calling, all were given no response.
