I had Googled the phone number for Google. Search came up with phone number 888-776-9159. I was trying to reach Google Customer Service. I was locked out of my account. I needed to reset my pass code for my G Mail account. The person I spoke with was foreign. They requested $** to reset the pass code. I went to Dollar General and purchased a Google Play Card for $**. I was scammed out of $**. That was not the phone number for Google.

Received a message on my computer from "Google" stating that my password had been hacked on my computer. I called phone number on the email 833-200-0447 and a woman stated she was with google and would be happy to help me. This women asked me to stay on the phone while she took control of my computer. I was transferred to a tech to finish making adjustments to my computer. It took 45 minutes. They stated they would charge me $*** for the changes that were made. I declined and then they lowered the price to *** and said I will have to pay in itunes gift cards. I realized it was a scam after reading similar experiences by victims on the internet. It was all a lie my email and password were not compromised.
