I also gave them my address to pick up the item on facebook marketplace

Approached as a potential buyer for Facebook Marketplace. Asked to pay using Zelle but then for the business protection, “had to”overpay to upgrade a small business account. I said I contacted Zelle to correct it, but they didn’t want to wait or do anything else with outside parties. Red flags- overpaid; I don’t have a business Zelle account; urgency and secrecy.

She contacted me about an item I had just posted for sale. She asked for my phone and I gave it to her. She said the number did not verify and asked for another number. I gave her my wife's. She then sent a msg to her phone which gave a Google Verification code and she asked what that number was. I gave it to her. She asked for another phone number. By then my wife Google this scenario and found the scam alert.

I was selling something on facebook marketplace, this person asked for my phone number as well as a family members phone number (in order to send a google verification code to “make sure I was real”). Once verified, this person can use my phone number to conceal her identity or open accounts in my name.
