I was selling items on Facebook marketplace. Was asked to text a woman (Joyce J) about picking up an item. She asked me to send a picture of 6digits texted to me. I read that this person was trying to set up google voice number linked to my phone ?? too late I found ScamPulse.com report about this scam. Can I do anything to fix this? What can they do now?

The scammer wanted a variation code through Google. I tried giving it to him but he said it wouldn't go through, then I realized I was being scammed.

Scammer tried setting up a Google Voice number linked to my phone number. They disguised it as "verifying I was a real person" but they were trying to use my phone number to find more information about me and steal my identity.
