I received 23 calls in 2 days from the Gordon Law Firm out of Brooklyn, NY asking for my attorney's information for a suit that would be filed tomorrow. The 23rd call I pretended to be scared and they transferred me to "Sam Cooper" who was supposedly an attorney. I told him that I am, in fact, an attorney and to just serve me. They couldn't tell me what the dispute was supposedly about, the amount or even what court they would be filing in. I have never called a Defendant asking for their attorney's information before filing a suit. TOTAL SCAM! I thought I was done but got a call again yesterday from Sam Cooper. I sure hope they file suit!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Gordon Law Firm saying I wrote a bad check and some company is trying to collect on the debt. When I told the woman I know it was a scam b/c I don't even have checks, she started screaming at me, telling me I was a liar, and that I would be arrested for check fraud. Then her manager got on and was calm until I said they were scammers and then he got nasty.

They said they were Gordon Law Firm, 209 Cadman Plaza in Brooklyn, NY. They had an address from 6 years for me, the last 4 of my social, and clearly my cell phone. It's disgusting that people try to make money by scamming others. Just gross.

A call from representatives from the Gordon Law Firm about arbitration for $7000. They can neither describe the instance, provide the date, or where the arbitration is coming from. The representative over talks you when asked for clarity. When you keep drilling him, he then transfers you to the attorney, who then tells you the same thing never providing an explanation. When I hung up, they called right back to reprimand me on my demeanor. I called back the number was not in service. Then a female representative called from the real number of the American Arbitration Association (718) 778-7879 stating the same thing, she had sorta details to provide, no reference number, no company from where the arbitration was coming from, and an incorrect address. I asked that she fax the paperwork or email it to me and she said she could do neither, that the notices were sent multiple time - to the incorrect address. SCAM. When I told her to have a nice day and that this was a scam to leave me alone and hung up, she called me right back to tell me my demeanor will only provide me with three charges and a lawsuit, finishing with a God Bless you. I called the AAA and they stated it was a scam, noted their number was being used and reported it to their IT department.

Just had a call from a "legal assistant" for Gordon Law Office, 209 Cadman Plaza, Brooklyn NY representing ONE MAIN Finance. She stated they sent me 35 emails and two hard copy notices to my home address. Did a search in email and got nothing from law firm or from One Main. No idea what this is about so she transferred me to the Attorney to look it up. Both of them were broken English and difficult to understand. Stated they are going to be suing me for illegal transaction, not having a valid checking and something else. Have had the same checking and savings for over 15 years. Total SCAMMERS. Hung up and blocked the number, they then tried to reach me using (3) other local numbers. (518)964-5666, (518)961-2097, (518)961-9205

Just got a call and they initially threaten you and then escalate you to the "Attorney" who scolds the initial representative to gain rapport with you and proceeds to read a false affidavit. The attorney was name "Mike Thomas" and the lead attorney on the case was "James T Green" none of which had a bar number after searching. This is a poorly executed scam and should you want to take their time ask them to read the entire affidavit numerous times or simply hang up. By the end of it they threatened to "[censored] my mom like a dog". If you can give me a filing number I'd be more than happy to see that happen.

Received a call 4 times from 214-943-5910; I finally answered and a gentleman with a thick Indian accent claimed to be representing the Gordon Law Firm and that a civil case was being brought against me tomorrow; he kept asking repeatedly for attorney info. I found this to be suspicious as the number never left a voicemail and I have never done anything that would/should result in a lawsuit. When asked for his firm's address, he gave me the address of 201 Cadman Plaza, Brooklyn NY, but, not only is there not a Gordon Law Firm there, that address appears to be the address of a park and the Brooklyn War Memorial. The more I pressured him for details, the more he got aggressive. When I mentioned that I'd never received notification of any such case, he referenced an address from 11 years ago and an email address I haven't used in almost 11 years. So, while he had a current phone number (I've had this phone number that long), he would not leave a voicemail. When we got disconnected, I tried to call back, and my number had been blocked. There is also no publicly posted information linked to that phone number nor to the address given.
