Honda roadside called Austin of Gordon rapid rescue (third party roadside assist) to boost my car when i accidentally forgot to turn off my vehicle interior light. He boosted my car and it started then he advised me that i needed to change my battery otherwise my car would not start when i turn it off. He told me he had brand new batteries for my car with warranty and i agreed for him to install it. I drove back to Abilene, went into work finished at 2AM tried starting my car and it would not start. Austin would not even take my calls and took a long time to respond to text messages telling me he is out of town. Took my car to Abilene Honda and got another battery installed, Honda technician told me the battery Austin installed was at least 10years old. Ask for a refund and Austin said refund is not possible, seems he has been selling fake refurbished batteries to stranded vehicles branding them as new.
