Received a text message in regards to an open Administrative Assistant job from an individual claiming to be Gordon Sim that works at Kilglen Estate and Letting Agency based out of the United Kingdom. I was informed that the company will be expanding their reach to the United States, specifically in Massachusetts (no address given). I told that I applied for the aforementioned job via Zip Recruiter and if I was still interested in applying, to which I sated Yes. I received another text to affirm if I was interested in the job description and pay. The detailed job description was then sent to my e-mail address for review. I sent a text message back to the individual claiming to be Gordon Sim stating that I reviewed the job description and a telephone interview was immediately scheduled. Basic administrative assistant questions were asked to see if I was qualified for the job. Another two days later, I received a job offer stating pay, responsibilities the job will entail, a job offer document contract, a background check document i was to fill out and sign. The background check document asked for personally identifiable information (SSN, driver's license information, etc).
