I was in the market to purchase a munchkin kitten. I submitted a request for information on a kitten from the site www.gorgeousmunchkin.com. The entire approval process and communication from the site all felt too good to be true. It all happened VERY quickly. I was asked a series of adoption questions and was required to submit my personal information including my address and the names of the people who lived in my home. When it came time for the transaction ($850) I was asked to transfer the money through an app called Zelle. Zelle offers no protection for the person sending money. Once the money is sent, it is gone. I requested to use PayPal being that they offer fraud protection. The company refused and was very pushy about me using the app and asked aggressively to send the payment. I immediately ended communication and the adoption process. I posted the website to a few munchkin cat Facebook groups where others confirmed the site was a scam. I feel absolutely violated.
