I ordered a jacket through a website my 17 year old son found online. I was slightly suspicious of the sight, but relented as he really liked the item and it was going to be for Christmas. I thought the item was coming from the US, as the website shows US $ symbol on the first page of site.
I ordered the item, had an email back from [email protected] they had received my payment of $55.85USD on 2020-11-30; it went on to say that "Due to the foreign exchange rate, the amount displayed on your statement might be a little bit different from the real price; Also said " Please not " "ETIK-DESIGN" will be displayed on your credit card statement instead of the website from which you purchased the mentioned product. It's just used for sending bill statement by the seller's payment processor as a tool." As well said in this email at the bottom "Should you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Services department at [email protected] with the transaction details listed above.
Onward to January 2021, when I hadn't received the parcel. I contacted them through the [email protected] address, telling them I had not received my parcel. They replied right away saying my order had been dispatched. Next, they tell me it shows delivered to me, and that it may be lost. They said it was up to ****** ****, who made the final delivery. ****** **** said (which I passed on the this "company") that the original sender my do an investigation through ***** ****. The original sender disagreed. In the end they offered me a 35% refund for my loss. I did not accept this as I didn't want any more financial transactions with this scamming company. The last email I sent was for them to verify what it was that they had sent to me - their response was in fact the same jacket I ordered.
My take on it is that they send a cheap, knockoff item to the recipient - in my case it was a pair of RayBans (definitely a knockoff) which mysteriously appeared probably around December 23, 2020 (around the same date Go!Shop said my package had been delivered).
I believe this is their scam: they send a cheap item that doesn't cost much to post; it shows delivered; then when someone complains they offer at 35% refund for their troubles.
