Atempted to purchase tools on Face Book Market place for a Thomas Mullins. I wanted to purchase two items he had listed. I paid for the first through FACEBOOK and he canceled the transaction stating he could get the money that way. I then paid him through PayPal and he refunded the money saying his card wasn't tied to "goods & Services and advised that I make the PayPal payment again but to use the "friends & family" tab. I told him I had no P/P buyer protection if I chose to make payment using "friends and family".

He sent me a detailed invoice from Driveway Diagnostics. The invoice discribed the items I was purchasing and contained attachments which were pictures of the two items.

I paid the invoice sent him a screen shot (sept 27th 5:25pm) and ask him for the tracking information he had promptly promised. After several texts he finally sent me a screenshot tracking information (not a picture of the receipt he said he was going to send) at 5:03 am.

I ran the USPS tracking number and as of this writing no information is available.

Payments appeared on my bank acct two for 10, one for 5 were successful. There are more attempts but I emptied my account.

I purchased a Harman/Kardon Bluetooth Onyx 4 speaker from a website. Afterward, I received a confirmation email which was very vague and it indicated at the bottom that it was from a website by the name of GOSQ.com. I replied to that email asking for a confirmation number and expected delivery date but received no response. I also researched the website and found no customer service phone number or any product listings of any kind.

My bank account statement showed that the payment was revived by Sherrie Cherrie & Treats, a Minnesota-based company. I found that business’s phone number and called but there was no answer so I left a message asking for clarification regarding my purchase. I received no call back.

I filed a claim of fraud with my bank, Wells Fargo, and will also be notifying the Minnesota State Attorney General’s Office.

On March 10, 2021, I was notified by text from my credit union that I had a fraud alert. It asked if I had authorized a $400 transaction using my debit card number. I typed, “No”. I then contacted my credit union and found out that another $400 transaction had gone through and someone was trying to put another $400 transaction through. They stopped the second transaction and investigated the initial $400 transaction as fraud. I was reimbursed, thankfully. I never authorized any transaction to Square. The bank is sending me a new debit card and I have destroyed the old.
