I just received a phone call from a man saying he was from the Federal Government in Washington DC. His phone number verified the call was from Washington DC. He asked for me by name, told me I qualify for a $9,000 grant and I can get it today if I promise to pay it back. I responded by telling him I'd like to be taken off this call list. He asked me why. He said he needed a reason. I told him I don't want free money. He then told me if I do not accept his offer, I will get a call from him every single day. I told him to please give me that in writing so I can present it to my friend, the District Attorney. He said, "Okay. Don't hang up." Then he hung up.
