Someone disguised as my friend I went to school with messaged me on Facebook and told me about some free money she got from the government $50,000.00 and gave me a phone number to text to see if my name was on the list . I text the number and they said it was . Then they said I had to get a gift card from Amazon for $200 and send them a picture of the numbers and receipt to cover the person verifying that the money was real then they ask for another gift card for $1000 all the while I was texting my friend who told me she had to do the same they kept telling me I needed to send the pictures of the card and receipt so they can bring me the money so after a while I realized it was a scam.
