 Consumer contacted a puppy breeders website and the scammers reached out to the consumer to collect $400.00 for the deposit and once arrangements were made for the puppy to travel on a plane the shipping company would reach out to her. The shipping company reached out to the consumer and advised her that the type of cage that is required would cost an additional $600 but once the consumer was in receipt of the puppy the consumer would receive their money back. The scammer asked the consumer to send money through "zellepay.com".

"Gracious Bichons" is a fraud! The website looks very real and convincing. They will even ask you to "apply" for consideration of one of their puppies. When you are 'approved', they will ask you to make the payment through Venmo or Zelle. As soon as you make payment, they will ask when you want delivery and pretend they are setting it up. They will even offer to have the puppy Ubered to your house once it arrives at the airport. You will then be asked to make a payment for $1100 for a special crate that is air conditioned. Even though they initially promise you that the crate they put the puppy is "approved by the airlines." You will then receive another email/text that tells you that you need to buy insurance for the puppy for $850. Both payments are promised to be refundable. If you fall for the scam, they will take you for over $2000!!! The website tells you that they will ship with reputable airlines, American etc. However, when you pay the initial $800 for the dog, the name of the transport company is now Diamond Air County, which is also a fraud. You will get different emails/texts pretending to be different people but it's the same people. The breeder will urge you to "just follow the instructions of the transport company." This is a very good scam. They have convincing websites for both companies. The websites look real! They are both fake!!
