The warning on my computer said it was Microsoft and they put me through to the Geek Store tech to fix the virus issue. Said that it was a Trojan Horse that was on my computer. Said they were going to protect my computer but it would cost me $109.99 for a year. It took the tech about 45 min to clean up the computer. He gave me a phone number and a case ID, plus a supervisors name and phone extension to call if I had any questions. Now when I turn on the computer this warning message still pops up. My computer is not cleaned or protected like they told me it would be. These are scam artists just wanting to take your money. I tried calling the number they provided and the number that is on their website, but it just hangs up. No one answers anytime I try calling. The supposed Microsoft Tech even showed me the Geek Store website and how they were ScamPulse.com accredited before I went through with saying I would pay for the cleaning of my computer and accepting the charges.
