Alan Goodwin gave me his address as: Consumer Protection Bureau c/o Alan Goodwin, 4000 Arlington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22204; and his phone # 1(571)302-9128.
2) I made contact and had communication with Brian Hughes 1(866)9789-4777 between 2/2 - 14/2018. He would only disclose his address as being in Henderson, Nevada.
3) He clearly and professionally explained the following information: 1) I am guaranteed an award of $750,000; 2) It was sent to me but was held up in Miami International Airport for security reasons; 3) In order for it to be released this matter must be screened by Home Land Security to verify any terrorist or criminal activity; 4) Funds will be released immediately after posting a 1% ($7,500) Insurance Bond to Lloyds of London. 5)This insurance fee will be refunded to me along with the $750,000 within 3-4 days of receipt. 6) I must send the $7,500 in money orders and not to write anything on the money orders, but place it in a blank envelope and send it Federal Express to a Licensed Bonded Insurance Agent representing Lloyds of London, named: Henry Deisi, 2020 Heights Dr., Harker Heights, TX 76548. I am not to disclose the contents of the envelope to the Fed Exp monitor, but that I was to call him and give him the Tracking #78979036612. 6) He would call me when the funds have cleared to schedule the arrival of the award directly to my address via Private Brinks Security Service.
4) On Monday 2/12/18, I receive a call back from Brian Hughes stating everything is in order and that they will schedule the delivery to me on 2/16/18 3:00-5:00PM HST. In the package I would get the award and a refund of my $7,500 plus $48 for money order and Fed Exp expense. I also get a call from Alan Goodwin to confirm that all is good to go and all I'd have to show the Brinks Security Service driver was the Federal Express Receipt and he would waive the $200 delivery fee. I was excited.
5) On Wednesday 2/14/18, I receive a call from Brian Hughes that they overlooked a storage fee that had to be paid to the Airport in order for them the release the package. The cost would be $100 / day and because they had it stored for 95 days, it would cost $9,500. If I don't pay it, they would not release the award. Brian said, he went out of his way to get it waived and tried desperately to get Gt. Am. Con. Ntwk. to cover it and I would refund them as soon as I deposited the winnings, but he said that couldn't be done and that I'd have to pay it or loose the award. He then accused me for being rude and argumentative when all I was doing was asking questions. He hung up on me.
6) I decided that I made a mistake, but I wasn't going to make it twice, so I'm now trying to find ways to cancel this arrangement and get my $7,500 back from Henry Deisi. I'm also notifying ScamPulse.com on this matter and will also followup with the Atty Gen. of Virginia to see if Alan Goodwin was a legitimate Officer of Consumer Protection Bureau.
7) Finally, I stand guilty of making this stupid mistake and I don't want anyone else to fall into such a deceptive scam.
