I was looking for a Great Dane puppy for my daughters birthday and my sister in law found this man George Bennett who was a Great Dane breeder on Facebook who had multiple wonderful reviews. The name of the Facebook group is Great Dane puppies for adoption and rehoming. So my sister in law and George had been in contact for about a week about the puppy. He agreed on $950 for the puppy and $260 for shipping since we are out of state. On the day of April 15,2022 he texted me to let me know the puppy was drop of with the shipping company he was using. The shipping company’s name is Petairbus.net. About 30 minutes later I receive a call from Petairbus telling me to check my email and call them back. I checked my email and saw a crate charge of $1,390 and it was 98% refunded upon delivery of the dog. They gave me an Apple Pay to use to pay that amount and said they would be in touch once the payment was confirmed. Then about an hour later I received another called telling me to check my email and call back so I did. This time it was a $1,455 charge for insurance for the dog for the flight which once again would be 98% refunded upon delivery of the dog. So we did the same process again of me paying and waiting for them to process it. By the time the finished processing that payment Petairbus said the dog had miss her last flight out of the day so they would put her on the first one in the morning and contact me before hand. Well on April 16,2022 I was surprised with two more charges throughout the day of her being shipped and prices through each of the airports. So in total not including the original cost or shipping fee of the dog I was charged $5,555. They tried to charge me another $3,555 through another email [email protected] stating they were the airport staff who were checking her in and realized she didn’t have rabies shots because she was to young to receive them so I would either have to pay the $3,555 or the would hold her for 4 months and then charge me $8,000 for the care and supplies she received while with them. So instead we drove to the airport to see if the dog was even there because at this point we figured it was a scam so at around 8:00pm on April 16,2022 we arrived at the airport and they said there was no dog on the original flight she was supposed to be on or the next one coming in. I was in contact with petairbus until I told them I arrived at the airport and then they said they would send me an email with all the information I needed to get her and I never received an email and I tried calling back probably 15 plus times.

He just did the same thing to us! He got 2700 off of us. Was there anything you did that we can do. I was going to call Denver police to see if he’s real.
