Great lakes property and investment services property management told me that inorder to take the house off the Market, i had to give them 1400.00. I gave them the 1400 and afterwards requested to see the property. They continued spinning me and/or not answering my calls. After 2 months of delays, they finally called and said the house was ready and the keys would be in the backyard on top of the water meter! When I arrived, I became aware that I had been scammed. The house had been totally vacant for some time. The paint ceiling in the kitchen was coming off and leaking water. The flooring in the kitchen and bathroom was completely horrible. There was rat poison in the cabinets and rat poop on the sink and cabinets. The security doors were way to small for the doors. Leaving about a foot of space open for anything to crawl under it. Nearly every window was missing screens. The door frame was totally out the wall. Nails hanging out and showing. The door frame was secured with 4 nails. There were no steps for the side porch. The heating ducts were not installed properly and pieces were missing. Pipes were hanging from the ceiling in the basement. The walls in the basement were ALL displaying signs of water damage.. Everything in the house was horrible. When I contacted the property manager, she said surrender the keys and refused to return my money.. Her exact words were" I will not give you your money back ,sue me" I took pictures and videos of everything. They scammed me.
