With FedEx, I sent $2,121.00 USD cash to the Los Angeles address above at Sun Set Blvd in L.A. The next day, Eric who was in charge of transfer, called and stated a complication had developed and that there was a minimum dollar amount of $5,000.00 needed to make such international transfer. I could either send them another $3,000 to the amount so transfer could go through or they would refund my money . I told them it was impossible to send another $3,000 so I wanted my money refunded. He said he would review the transfer minimum and see if it could be reviewed by his supervisor to obtain special approval. He would call me the next day to confirm. The next day I did not hear from him so I called and after a number of calls (kept getting busy signal) I finally got through to Eric and he indicated they could not get any amount under $5,000 approved so he would send the money back to me.
Days went by and I now some ten days later I have not received any refund of the $2,121.00 money sent. Numerous times I have tried to call Eric at Green Castle Group (805-574-8232) but can never get through as a busy signal is generated or the phone goes dead. To confirm my suspicion, I emailed my friend in Myanmar to determine any tracking number being sent, money received or contact by Green Castle group and he has not had any contact.
My plight has now moved from any hope in gaining money back to trying to keep anyone else from having the same bad experience and loss of money. Thus, I contacted BBB with this report resulting based upon speaking with a BBB representative.
