After ordering and not receiving confirmation thru email I became concerned that I had fallen for a scam. I had ordered on 8/9/2021? that was when the charge appeared on my credit card and actually received my order less than 2 weeks later. I was pleasantly thinking it wasn't a scam.
This morning 9/25/2021, I receive an alert from my credit card company asking if I had made a charge to this company BALZACW for $99.96. I said no and the charge was declined. I then researched the name and realized it was one of the 3 companies that I had been individually charged for for each of the CBD items. I tried to find the ad again on Facebook, gone. I searched on line, gone. I then searched the history on my computer and can find nothing directing me to the website where I purchased these items. I did find the company by typing in BALZACW and called them although it wasn't the website I had ordered from it had a disclaimer that I would be charged a certain amount after 14 days unless canceled. I promptly called and spoke to someone about canceling my order who could not find me anywhere in their system, 866-825-6788. Not by my email, street address or phone number. I told them I would be filing a fraud claim then if I didn't exist but was being charged close to $100. I'm thankful I haven't opened any of the product and given it to my husband to try. The phone number on the bottles I received is 888-204-0470 and they came from a Fullment Center in Florida.

Type of a scam Online Purchase
As a veteran with multiple joint replacements, and a senior with occasional sleeplessness, I was interested in this research. A link appeared to a "free trial" for 30 CBD capsules so I entered my name, street and email addresses, and credit card info. Another screen popped open with a "free trial" for CBD oil and I re-entered my information. I scrolled to the bottom of each page to check for any special terms and conditions, to include any requirements for purchasing additional shipments. There was no such fine print information at the bottom of either screen. Since no company name or information was listed on the order screen, I didn't know who to call to check about the offer. I never received any email confirmation of my order. My credit card was immediately charged for $6.96 for S&H charges on 7/11/21 by Lox Wellness Products (phone number listed as 855-583-5344 in Florida) and $6.81 for S&H charges by Get Wellness Products (phone number listed as 817-438-7945 also in Florida). I called the 855 number was told that I would have 14 days from date of order to cancel the monthly subscription shipment of both CBD products for $40 if I didn't want to continue. I asked about the company address and was told they were a Fulfillment Center for multiple "companies." I asked for the USPS tracking number and signed up for delivery notifications. Notifications included 5 days for the Fulfillment Center to send USPS the shipping label, so that the package arrived on July 19th.
Inside the package was a container of 30x 10mg CBD oil and a small vial of CBD oil. There was no company information inside, no product information or sheets about additional shipments or pricing. In fine print on the capsule container was the name Green Country Growers with the phone number 888-204-0470. I tried a capsule on July 19th and a medicine dropper of the oil on July 20th. There were no noticeable effects on my joint pain or sleep so I called the 888 number to cancel any additional shipments. I was told that if I didn’t accept the $40/month follow-on shipments, I would be billed an additional $40 to my credit card for the two “free trial” products. They told me I should pay for shipping charges (a second time) to return and insure the opened containers of my “free trial” products to P.O. Box 15911 in Tampa, FL 33684.
I searched online for Green Country Growers complaints and found hundreds filed with BBB’s around the country. The Ashland, Ohio ScamPulse.com had the most complaints with complainants unable to cancel future shipments and finding unauthorized and/or unexpected charges to their credit cards for additional items. They too were unaware that they signed up for a continuity program. The ScamPulse.com has been unable to confirm the physical location of the business or its ownership but found a website trygreencbd.com that was registered through NameCheap in March 2021. To date the ScamPulse.com has not received a response from anyone contacted regarding these matters.
I will be filing complaints with the FBI for fraud and financial crimes, FDA for human health and safety concerns for packaging and selling substances with unknown origin and marketing a product with claims it can cure a variety of symptoms, the FTC selling alleged CBD products throughout the U.S, and possibly overseas with possible interstate commerce violations, and (if there is such a thing -- please advise) National Alliance of Attorneys General for a potential Class Action suit.
Thank you for warning others about this pervasive scam.
