A guy named Brad Cohen, President of GreenRevolution EMS was running a ponzi scam by collecting $10,000 in order to become a distributor in his company. The company quarantined 8% savings on customers electric bills with a product he claimed was 're-invented' by his company, adapting an older, proven technology. The technology is used in large comercial situations. His claim was that he and his Electrical Engineer Staff had figured a way for the products to work for smaller businesses. I signed up under this premiss. All my proposals where not originally designed by any electrical Engineer as promised and marketed, but by Brad himself guessing on the electrical parameters and savings. He was basically taking $10,000 per rep and feeding them non working proposals. And if a client actually bought one, the guarantee was never proven. Basically making all the reps seem like con artist. When they quit or asked their money back, He would sign someone else up and float the money. I had one potential customer that was presented a $70,000.00 system. When even I question the sizing of the product proposal, outside Electrical Engineers came in and Brad agreed to lower the proposal to a system that might perform %3 energy savings, and that latter proposal was only for $5500 worth of equipment. He took my $10,000 promising to give it back if I was not satisfied, and it was impossible to sell wrongly designed systems and a technology that at best can only save about 3%. He just made up the 8% to sell distributorships.
