Type of a scam Online Purchase
At this point, I was fed up with all the transactions, and the extra fees that weren't mentioned before closing the deal. I told the delivery person to cancel the purchase, and to return my money. His response was he needed $200 more to finalize the transaction. I told him the deal was over, and I needed my money back. He said have a nice day, and never returned my money or delivered the products.
I called Bank of America and Zelle to cancel the transactions, but was told Zelle is an independent agency. and the only thing they can do is investigate the case, but no refund. I went to the Police Precinct near my house, and I was told nothing can be done.
Now, I feel vulnerable because these thieves know my address, full name, and Zelle account. I don't want anyone else experiencing this scam. Please flag this webpage, and prevent consumers from making the same mistakes I made.
