GreenTech Solution Inc. Eric Petroff wanted to buy $6,000 worth of power inverters over the phone to pick up in two days. He gave (John Howard) his bosses credit card over the phone but could not produce a license or proof that the card was his/the companies. The company had an @aol.com email account for their business. They had headquarters in NC with a branch in LA but the phone numbers were a 1800 and a TX number. The credit card given was a Colorado zip code. The transaction seemed sketchy. I called back to speak with the "boss" (John Howard) who the card was under and he could not answer any questions. He also seemed to be being coached as to what to say. I asked to speak to the accounting dept and was given to another person, Alex, who's proof the company was real was "check the website". The website had minimal information and did not come up under a basic google search. Google maps shows that the Houma LA branch was located in a neighborhood. The phone kept scrambling, they could not give me another number or solid proof that this wasn't a scam. They all spoke extremely broken English and didn't know anything about Houma where they apparently are located. They have a fax number from NC but faxed from a southern Kansas number.
