Myself and now my parents have been receiving phone calls from a local phone number that shows up as “Hebron NE” on caller ID. The phone number on the caller ID is 402-200-3586. The caller in all occasions has told I borrowed money from EZ Loan Services over 10 year ago, and I need to call another number at 888-939-4036 and provides a file number (24-71785). They identified themselves as Greenview Financial Services, or GFS. Today I called the 855 number and it was answered by someone initially who asked for my file number and told me they would transfer me to the legal department upstairs. Upon being transferred, the man asked for the case number, asked if I was ***** ******* I replied yes and then put me on hold. When he came back on the phone he said he needed to verify my identity and asked me to confirm my DOB, which I provided and then he asked if the last 4 numbers of my soc was “****” and I told him yes. I did not give my soc number but he seemed to have it. He then asked me if my last name was ******* or ******, and I told him I wasn’t giving him anymore information until he told me who he was and what this was about. Then he told me that he was calling because I’m being sued by EZ Money Loan Services for $3842.00 dollars and asked if I’d received paperwork about it which I did not. I told him I’ve never had a loan from EZ Money Loan Services (this is a payroll advance company) He replied that he doesn’t know what to tell me, that he didn't want to be in the business of taking my money, but he advised me to forward any paperwork I receive to an attorney. I asked for the address and business name and he told me he was with Greenview Financial Services. His name was John. I simply replied that I don’t know what this is about but I have had no such debt he said I could take care of 1386.00 with him now or wait for me to be served papers and get an attorney. . I have pulled all 3 of my credit reports to see if perhaps my info has been stolen and there is something on my credit - I found nothing. This seems like a scam but one where they have my personal information and my aging parent's phone number.

I received a voicemail from someone stating that I needed to contact them regarding a file number and legal action that was going to be taken against me. When I called the person asked for m y file number and was able to provide me with a lot of personal information about myself. They told me that I can forward everything to my lawyer if anything persists but they were notating my account aht I did call and speak with someone. I do not have an oustanding loan except fo rmy student loans so I'm not sure who this company is.
