Too Cute To Be True
They replied back that Ollie was an older dog and they were expecting more puppies in a few weeks, so they were willing to drop his price to 400 plus shipping of 200. When I responded back that I will pick him up instead, I got an email back simply asking me if I was still interested or not. When I asked if they saw my email that I would pick him up, they then said they are in Greenville Colorado which is not what the website said. Which of course when I looked on google no such town exists in Colorado outside of Denver. At this point I smelled a scam and quit communicating. They sent me two " canned" emails asking me if I was still interested, but all I could say was yes or no, they prevented me from writing anything in the email. I responded no and the communications stopped. I did not lose any money, but want everyone to know they are shady. The old adage is true..." if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!"
Total money lost $300
Type of a scam Online Purchase
Greenville Mini Scnauzers accepts Zelle, Amex gift card and Cashapp only for payment. I used Zelle.
Lawrence Drumdoole seemed to be the name of the breeder and the payment of Zelle went to [email protected]!
They did use a typewritten puppy deposit contract which was signed by my sister and it was her Zelle payment(my sister was gifting the puppy to me). It was 25 days from my first to my last email to them, when I realized that I would never see that puppy in person and never own him! In their last contact through email to me they said that they received my deposit and acknowledged it. I haven't heard from them since!
I want to also state that the $700.includeded that they claimed to worm the puppies, give the first vaccines, removed dew claws and cropped the tails.
